Now we are back to offering beginner lessons again!

As this Coronavirus continues to spread, we are going to hold off on private lessons for two weeks. Let's see what happens with this virus.I will keep in touch with everyone and assess the situation at that time. If anyone would like to pick up their equipment to practice at home, please contact me and we can set a time to pick up. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns. Hello fellow club members and parents

Due to the Coronavirus we have decided to take some precautions to keep everyone safe. 

Sunday March 16th will be our last group class. We will be suspending group class lessons until we see what happens with this virus. We will carry over your half month payment when we resume. We will still be offering private lessons during this time. Please email me back before Monday with the days and times and how many private lessons per week that would be best for you. Private lessons are 20 mins for $30. We will try to have a schedule made up by Monday night that will accommodate as many people as we can. Thank you for understanding during this these trying times. We are trying to keep everybody safe but still able to practice. Please let me know if you have any concerns or questions. Miraclefencingclub@gmail.com

Here are some precautions to take when you come to the club:

🤚 Wash your hands frequently or use hand sanitizer with 60-90% alcohol which is just inside the club entrance. Please use this to clean your hands immediately on entering the club, before touching anything. Hand washing: We have soap and paper towel in the bathrooms..

Please wash your hands when you arrive before using shared gear. 🤺 Mask sanitising: We have a 70% alcohol spray for cleaning hire masks between uses.

Please spray and wipe down the lining of your mask before and after wearing.

🙋‍♀️ Physical contact reduction: No more handshakes, please. A salute will do fine.If you insist you can do the elbow bump thing, or just be classy and bow.

‼️ Finally and most importantly:

🥵🤒 Please do not come to the club if you are unwell.

Miracle Fencing Club 

Miracle Fencing Club is proud of our fencers who qualified and competed in the Junior Olympics. Sharon Ni, Emily Chang, Siwen Liao, Leo Feng, Michael Baldwin and Kevin Jiang. Our Women's Saber team did a great job earning 4th place! Out of 208 competitors for Cadet Women's saber Emily Chang finished 27th and Siwen Liao finished 40th! We all worked hard and I am really proud of the results!

Congratulations Alexandria Fan who got the 2nd place silver medal at the Capital Clash for Y8 Women's saber!

Congratulations to all our fencers who competed in the Fairfax Challenge Winter RYC&RCJJ (12/28/19-12/29/19). In Y10 Men's Saber: David Hong got 6th place! Y10 Women's Saber: Alexandria Fan got 7th place! Y12 Men's Saber: Landon Su got 7th place! Y12 Women's Saber: Emily Xu got 1st place! Y14 Women's Saber: Emily Zhao got 5th place and Emily Xu got 6th place!  Great job everyone!
